Kobe SALAD Online 2021 Summer
Program introduction
In cooperation with Hanyang University, this program started Seoul in 2013. SALAD (School of Asian Law and Dispute Management) was subsequently held every summer in Kobe, accepting students from various regions of Asia, in the spirit of promoting mutual trust based on the understanding and appreciation of various values derived from the sustainable diversity of social cultures in Asia.
Kobe SALAD was not held on Kobe University's campus in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead, Kobe SALAD Online Spring 2021 was held in February and March. The Summer 2021 session is the second Kobe SALAD to be held virtually.

Program introduction
This program's purpose is to deliver lectures in English and provide opportunities for interactive discussion with partner universities in Asia.

Summer Program in Japanese Language and Culture 2022
Program introduction
Since 2003, this Summer Program has been provided for undergraduate or graduate students studying Japanese at overseas partner universities.
Delivered mostly in Japanese, the course not only focuses in furthering students’ reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, but aims to deepen their understanding of Japanese society and current issues facing Japan. The 2022 course will be offered online.

KOBE JAPANESE PROGRAM -Discover the Kobe Area and Japan-Australia つながり!-
Program introduction
The Kobe Japanese Program (KJP) is designed for undergraduate or graduate students with upper elementary Japanese language skills.
The course provides opportunities to study Japanese Language and Area Studies, including culture and society, centered on the Kobe/Hyogo area and its links with Australia.
The 2022 course was conducted entirely online, utilizing various live teaching methods, and small class sizes to provide the most interactive and personal learning experience possible.

2021 Kobe University Summer Study Program
Program introduction
This program is for students who wish to experience what it is like to study and live in Japan. Participants can experience exclusive high-level courses covering a range of specialist fields, Japanese language courses, together with unique opportunities to experience Japanese culture outside the classroom. This program also offers a head start for prospective students who are considering applying for long-term study abroad programs in the future.
Due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, the program will be taking place online this year. The program will consist of lectures co-organized by Kobe University and several overseas universities, and the lectures will be provided in Japanese or English.
